Invite someone to XMPP with a link

Where to find it

Main window → invitation icon at the top left → Create Invitation

This creates a shareable invitation link through the selected account’s server. The server decides whether you may create links and how long they remain valid. It is separate from inviting someone to an active call or a group room.

What to do

1. Choose the account issuing the invitation.

2. Choose Create Link and wait for the server response.

3. Copy the offered web or XMPP link. If supported by the build, you can also use the QR code.

4. Share the link with the intended person. Read any expiry or permission message.
