Play voice and video messages

Where to find it

Chat → received recording

A recording is a stored message. Playing it does not call anyone. Depending on download status, the file may need to be downloaded first.

What to do

1. Press Play on a voice message. The waveform or timeline shows progress and lets you seek.

2. Pause to stop playback. Use offered volume or playback-speed controls where available.

3. Open videos directly in the chat and use playback controls. A download in progress does not mean the full video is available.

4. Use the attachment’s save action to keep your own copy. Check the playback speaker under Audio & Video if you hear nothing.
