Where to find it

Sign in → XMPP Address and Password → Login

Enter the complete address, including the part after @. Your account password was provided by your XMPP provider or set by you there. A display name such as “Bob” is not enough to sign in.

What to do

1. Enter the XMPP address and this account’s password.

2. Normally leave “Advanced Settings” closed. Only use details supplied by your provider or administrator there.

3. Choose “Login” and complete the success screen. If an error remains, check the address, password and internet connection.
